I upgraded my work laptop to the IBM Ubuntu reeeeeemix. I’m very impressed with the ease Ubuntu can be customised and how well that works with installations/ upgrades. Fantastic stuff.
The best thing to happen all month.
I had the following problem yesterday and it has taken me about 24 hours to work it out. The problem is as follows.
I thought I’d develop an application for the Android Market.
I hear it is pretty similar to java which is something I’d like to learn. I’ll post my source if I make something that actually works!

On with this new diet and here are my results so far…..
Right back from holiday and watching South Park. Holiday was amazing but now I need to detox. I’m going to try and start a new diet which is as follows.
I’m in Thailand for a two week holiday! Hurrah! Its been very good so far. Very relaxing and quite lively.
Unfortunately today has been rained off, but I don’t mind so much it forces me to detox from all the gin. Hmmmmm gin.
I’ve not checked in for a long time but let me briefly let you know what I’ve been up to.
I’m testing the new Ubuntu release of Karmic Koala. It is in beta now and should be released at the end of October. Unfortunately I’m away on holiday in Thailand when it comes out so I wanted to have a little play around before I went. And I’ve already raised three bug reports on Launchpad already. Minor difficulties but overall it is an improvement.
